Samuel Sagan wrote his first astrology software while working as a medical doctor in the early 1980's, to study the charts of his patients. In 1994, the program was rewritten in C++, renamed Canopus, and released commercially.
In 2006, the program was rewritten in Java and reshaped to fit within the Virtual Thunder Framework, designed to explore interactions between artificial intelligence and the human consciousness.
Michael Geis wrote code to read the JPL ephemeris and fixed stars ephemeris, and several other modules that are part of Virtual Thunder.
Matjaz Pirnovar was Clairvision Virtual Astrologer's main tester, and he worked on databases of famous people's charts.
Kelvin Tan provides general technical support and maintains the server behind Virtual Thunder and Clairvision Virtual Astrologer.
Rebecca Mehl worked on the tutorials.
Felix Conradi worked on the tutorials.
Rosalind Rosewarne created the color themes used for printing charts.
Adriana Portillo did all Spanish translations and recorded the Spanish tutorials.
Dolores Pellicer translated the menus into Portuguese.
Matias Vilhena translated the chart interpretation into Portuguese.
Stefan Gorzkiewicz worked on the German translations.
Lioba Steinkamp worked on the German translations.
Matthias Elle worked on the German translations.
